H1B salary lookup: how to see what a company filed for your job title

Updated 2026-10-28. Sources are linked inline. Not legal advice.

Short answer: every H-1B petition starts with a Labor Condition Application (LCA) that lists the job title, work location and the wage the employer offers. The Department of Labor publishes certified LCAs as downloadable disclosure files (DOL OFLC performance data). Filter them by employer and title to see the H-1B salaries a company filed.

1. Download the LCA disclosure file

On the OFLC performance data page, open the LCA program (Form ETA-9035) files for the fiscal year you want. The federal fiscal year runs October 1 to September 30; the latest FY2026 file covers determinations issued October 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

2. Filter to the employer and the role

  1. VISA_CLASS = H-1B and CASE_STATUS = Certified.
  2. EMPLOYER_NAME (also try TRADE_NAME_DBA): use the legal name, which can differ from the brand.
  3. JOB_TITLE for the employer's own title, or SOC_TITLE for the standard occupation.
  4. Optionally the work location (WORKSITE_CITY, WORKSITE_STATE): pay depends a lot on the area.

3. Read the salary fields

H1B Sponsor Checker does this filtering for you on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable job pages: the free panel shows the median and range of the annualized offered wage on the employer's certified H-1B LCAs for similar titles (Oct 2023–Jun 2026), next to its USCIS approvals and denials. Pro ($7/month or $49/year) adds offered vs. prevailing wage and the wage level I–IV mix. You can also look up any employer from the toolbar popup.
